For Dental Practices
What positions can you fill when I need coverage?
Montana-licensed Registered Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants, including CDAs and EFDAs. Availability varies by date — reach out with your specific dates and hours and we'll confirm exactly what's open.
Will you send unqualified people to my office?
Never. Every RDH OnDemand employee completes a full application, a personal interview, and reference verification. All assistants have at least one year of clinical experience, and every professional license is confirmed active and in good standing with the state of Montana.
If a temp is injured in my office, am I liable?
No. Everyone we send is our employee, not yours. We carry full workers' compensation on every team member and cover all employment taxes, so that responsibility stays with us.
What if I want to hire one of your team permanently?
We'd be thrilled you found a great fit! A one-time permanent placement fee applies. Just call us first to talk through the details before raising it with the employee.
What about a payroll audit — will I owe penalties?
No. Using our staffing service actually protects you in the event of an audit. We're happy to provide copies of all relevant policies should you ever need them.
One of my staff just called out — what do I do?
For short-notice needs, call or text Elinne at 406.647.3141. If you reach voicemail, leave your name, practice, doctor, the position you need, and the exact date(s) and hours — we'll get right back to you.
For Hygienists
Will working with you limit me to entry-level or temporary roles?
Not at all. We match you to positions that fit your skills — whether you're newly graduated or highly experienced. Temporary, temp-to-permanent, entry-level, and advanced roles all come through regularly, and we work to pair you with the best offices.
Will it limit how much I can earn?
No. We pay you exactly what we agree on at hiring — no hidden fees, and we never keep a portion of what you earn. The appropriate taxes are withheld per the W-4 you complete before placement, and we keep our wages competitive so you earn what you deserve.
Do I get any personal benefits as an employee?
Yes. Every employee is covered by workers' comp and unemployment tax coverage, plus liability protection if you're ever injured on the job — coverage most temps don't get unless they're an actual employee. Because you set your own schedule, we don't offer PTO or vacation time, but qualifying employees can receive supplemental health coverage, a scrub allowance, and CE reimbursement.
Can I set my own schedule as a temp?
Absolutely — that's the beauty of it. On your application you tell us the days, hours, and towns you're willing to work, then use our calendar app to mark when you're available. You stay in control, so you can be there for life's most important moments.
I already have a permanent job — can I temp on my days off?
Of course. Many offices aren't open five days a week, so temping is a great way to supplement your income on your free days. Tell us the dates you're available — including stretches when your own office is closed — and we'll match you to requests during that time.
Do I need to sign a contract?
Yes — an Employment Agreement that protects both of us. It puts your pay terms in writing, confirms our responsibility for all required taxes, and states that you've agreed to our policies and expectations. It is not a commitment to a set length of time; many employees take an extended break and jump back into the schedule whenever they're ready. We're here to make your career work for you.
Can you guarantee me hours?
We can't, and here's the honest reason: hours depend on offices reaching out when a need comes up. That said, our service has been well received across Montana and we keep growing — and with hygienists in such high demand right now, our team stays very busy.
