Behind The Idea
RDH OnDemand started with a simple idea back in 2019, when founder Lynsee saw how often Montana dental offices were left scrambling to cover an empty chair. Elinne has since taken the helm — and after years of temping across the state herself, she knew the problem firsthand: a vacation, a maternity leave, or even a single sick day could leave an office short-staffed and patients rescheduled.
So she built the solution she always wished existed. Today, RDH OnDemand places qualified temporary dental professionals with practices throughout Montana, and has earned wide attention across the state for solving a need no one else could.
Short-staffed? Not anymore.
Elinne McPherson, RDH, BSDH - Owner
Elinne earned her dental hygiene degree from the Lake Washington Institute of Technology in 2003 and her Bachelor's in Dental Hygiene from the Oregon Institute of Technology in 2008. She spent 19 years in private practice in Washington State as both a dental assistant and hygienist.
A Montana native and ranch girl at heart, Elinne moved home to be closer to family and lend a hand at the ranch where she grew up — cows, sheep, hay, and plenty of fencing. Ranch life gave her a love of the outdoors, a deep respect for hard work, and a fondness for every animal on the place (her husband, Mac, included).
She's worked as a temporary hygienist across Montana since 2017 — the flexibility that let her be at the ranch while still caring for patients is the very thing she now builds into RDH OnDemand for every hygienist on her team.
When she's not working, she and Mac are usually chasing their next adventure: beaches, mountains, open road, and a backpack-riding cat who's met more dogs than most people have.
